Happy New Year: Drop Spot back on its regular schedule

Happy 2014!

Now that the holiday is over, we are back on our regular schedule as follows.

On Saturdays,
- West End Community Centre, 10am to noon;
- Gordon Neighbourhood House, 10am to noon;
- Winter Farmers Markets at Nat Bailey Stadium, 10am to 2pm;

and on Tuesdays,
- Gordon Neighbourhood House, 6pm to 7:30pm.

Evening Drop Spot in the West End

If you haven’t already heard - there’s a trial for an evening Food Scraps Drop Spot at Gordon Neighbourhood House.

Tuesday nights 6:00 to 7:30 - a volunteer will be in front of the Gordon Neighbourhood House to collect your food scraps.

Come on down to visit us! See you at the Drop Spot.

Winter Farmer’s Market

Thank you to all the droppers who came out to the Winter Farmer’s Market Drop Spot this season! From this one location we collected over 13,000 lbs of organics.

The Winter Market is closed for the season but we will be back soon with new locations;

Trout Lake Farmer’s Market - Saturdays
May 11 - October 19
- new location right in the market

Kitsilano Farmer’s Market - Sundays
May 12 - October 20

West End Farmer’s Market - Saturdays
